Utilities Example 5: Kerr Contractors, Inc. - Heavy Civil Contractor

KCI was selected for this unique project to install approximately 5-miles of 72-inch welded steel waterline connecting the Hillsboro Water Treatment Plant in Forest Grove to the City of Cornelius. Along the alignment was a bored crossing under the Tualatin River, nesting eagles near the river, the Fern Hill Wetlands and residential streets in Cornelius. This project was administered by the City of Hillsboro on behalf of the Joint Water Commission, consisting of the Cities of Cornelius, Hillsboro, Sherwood, Beaverton and Portland.
